The People's Party of Lanzarote and La Graciosa has announced its candidates for the upcoming elections. As La Voz had already announced, Pancho Hernández, former mayor of Tías, will be the candidate for the Senate for the insular constituency of Lanzarote and La Graciosa. In addition, Maureen Mezari and Víctor Duque will accompany him as substitutes.
Likewise, Lanzarote and La Graciosa will also be represented on the provincial list for the Congress of Deputies, with Jeziel Martín at number five and Lorena Martín at number eight.
The president of the popular party on the island, María Jesús Tovar, assures that these profiles "will achieve the best results for the People's Party in our islands".
"Pancho Hernández represents the real values of the PP, a person who worked tirelessly to transform the Tías City Council, holding the mayoralty between 2011 and 2019, even winning up to three consecutive elections in the municipality," she maintains.
As for the Lanzarote representatives on the list for Congress, Jeziel Martín is the current spokesperson for the PP in the San Bartolomé City Council, while Lorena Martín is a councilor in the Yaiza City Council and also formed part of the list for the Congress of Deputies.
