Playa Honda says goodbye to summer with a party and more than 30 activities

The San Bartolomé City Council is pleased with the great success of the Playa Honda End of Summer Festivities, which ended last Sunday, September 29, and which served to say goodbye to the summer season with a great atmosphere, unity and inclusion as a flag. 

The mayor of San Bartolomé, Isidro Pérez, highlighted "the wide participation and great reception of each of the more than 30 activities, events and acts held in different locations in Playa Honda and thanked the citizens for their behavior, as well as the municipal workers, the Department of Festivities, the associations and the entities that were involved to make the festivities possible." 

“Thousands of neighbors gathered at the events of the program of these Festivities and we are proud and grateful that the work done has paid off and we invite you to participate and enjoy with the same energy next year,” said the mayor.

In the same vein, the Councilor for Festivities, Estefanía Luzardo, stated "the great success of some of the events such as the traditional card tournaments, the parties for young people and children, the workshops, the activities for the elderly, the sports events or the different cultural, musical and dance meetings organized from October 20 to 29 in the town." 

Finally, both municipal representatives wanted to "thank and congratulate the work of the State Security Forces and Corps, the Local Police and private security who ensured the smooth running of the events and for safe festivities, in addition to the effort of the Civil Protection volunteers and the cleaning staff who acted after each celebration."
