The beach of Playa Blanca has been reopened for swimming this Thursday, according to information from the Yaiza City Council. Access to the beach was closed last Tuesday during the morning in the southern town, with the main reason of bacterial contamination.
The City Council has proceeded to the opening of the beach after the monitoring of the water quality by Public Health and the laboratory report issued this very Thursday which determines that the water “presents conforming microbiological parameters”.
The Councillor for Beaches, Beatriz Vázquez, thanks the citizen collaboration in respecting the signage during the two days of temporary closure.
