The President of the Government of Spain, Pedro Sánchez, and his family arrived in Lanzarote at 12.30 pm this Saturday, December 29.
The head of the Executive will be on vacation in the National Heritage house in Costa Teguise with his wife, Begoña Gómez, and his two daughters to say goodbye to the year and welcome 2019 after his first seven months as the country's leader.
Before traveling to Lanzarote, the President of the Government yesterday took stock of his first months in the press conference he offered in Madrid after the last Council of Ministers of 2018.
Sánchez is expected to remain on the Island, at least, until January 2 or 3.
