Paco Parrilla says goodbye to his work as cultural manager of the Cabildo of Lanzarote

During 35 years of his career, he was immersed in initiatives such as the Insular Craft Fair of Mancha Blanca or the 'Island Christmases' program

Francisco Parrilla, known as Paco Parrilla, is retiring after dedicating 35 years of his life to being a cultural manager at the Cabildo of Lanzarote.

From the area, Parrilla has been immersed in initiatives such as the programming of the International Music Festival of the Canary Islands in the non-capital islands, the Insular Craft Fair of Mancha Blanca, the Folkloric Festival Nanino Díaz or the Island Christmases program in Lanzarote and La Graciosa.

He has always been linked to youth groups, seeking the involvement of young people in the community. In this line, he presented a project in 2022 to provide shelter to young homeless people, both Canarian and foreign, who live on the island of Lanzarote.

Among his public recognitions, Paco Parrilla was responsible for giving the opening speech of the Argana Alta festivities in 2019.
