The Cabildo of Lanzarote and La Graciosa, through the Department of Education, informs that this Wednesday, September 23, the period for submitting appeals to the provisional resolution proposals for official study grants and travel assistance for the 2025/2026 academic year opens, which will remain open until October 6, both inclusive.
The call, which has a budgetary allocation of over 1.6 million euros, has received a total of 3,849 applications, of which 2,082 correspond to study grants and 1,767 to travel assistance.
The Minister of Education, Ascensión Toledo, points out that "these grants represent economic support for families in Lanzarote and La Graciosa who face the expenses derived from the education of their children, especially when they have to travel off the island to continue their studies".
Likewise, Toledo encourages students to consult the provisional lists and reminds them that "it is important to check the status of each application and, if necessary, submit appeals within the established period so that they can be evaluated before the final resolution".
Applicants have ten business days to consult their file and submit any appeals they deem appropriate through the grants and assistance management platform.
