The Minister of Public Works, Fabián Martín, has announced that next Friday, June 6, there will be closures on the LZ-2 (Arrecife ? Playa Blanca) road, and LZ-701 (old Yaiza - Playa Blanca road). Cabildo sources have confirmed that the closures are due to the filming of "Broken Embraces", the film that Pedro Almodóvar is filming these days on the island.
The Minister informs that during the day, there will be intermittent closures in both directions, on the section between the Golfo roundabout and the Las Salinas de Janubio roundabout. Fabián Martín asks users to drive with caution in that area, "respecting the provisional signage".
With this traffic closure, there have already been three on the island due to the filming of Almodóvar. The other two occurred last week on the Tahíche road, on the LZ-1.
