Luis Planas will travel to Lanzarote this Thursday

The Minister of Agriculture will arrive on the island to sign an agreement for the modernization of irrigation in Lanzarote

The Minister of Agriculture, Fisheries and Food, Luis Planas, will travel this Thursday to Lanzarote, as reported this Wednesday by the Ministry of Agriculture in a press release. A visit in which at approximately 11:15 a.m. he will attend the event for the signing of an agreement for the modernization of irrigation on the island.

During the event, he will meet with the president of the State Mercantile Society of Agricultural Infrastructures (Seiasa), Francisco Rodríguez Mulero, with the aim of "improving irrigation in the northeast area of Lanzarote, in the municipalities of Tinajo and Teguise."

After the meeting, Planas will attend to the media at the headquarters of the Island Directorate of the AGE in Lanzarote (Arrecife). Subsequently, the minister will visit the El Cuchillo irrigable area at approximately 1:00 p.m., accompanied by island authorities.
