Nueva Canarias-Bloque Canarista (NC-bc) in Lanzarote will actively participate in its VI National Congress to be held on July 26 and 27 in Las Palmas de Gran Canaria, with a delegation of 40 delegates elected to represent the island in this important meeting of the Canarian nationalist left.
The Lanzarote Canarians have completed their process of designating delegates, "thus reaffirming their commitment to the NC-bc project and to the construction of a progressive alternative with a vision of the country for the Canary Islands."
According to the island president of NC-bc and regional deputy, Yoné Caraballo, “the broad representation of Lanzarote in this congress demonstrates the growing weight of our island within the national organization, as well as the commitment to the participation of all the islands in the democratic and plural decision that will be made at said meeting.”
During this VI National Congress the main political, social and economic challenges facing the Canary Islands will be addressed, as well as the strategy and executive direction of NC-bc for this new political cycle. The Lanzarote delegates will defend specific proposals related to the party model, left-wing nationalism, political communication in times of turbopolitics or the Canarian school, among others.
“From Lanzarote we are excited and committed to the NC-bc project. We are going to fight for a more socially and economically just Canary Islands. To fight for our identity and for peace. We are convinced that the best project that defends the social majority of the Canary Islands is NC-bc”, says Yoné Caraballo.
