The Cabildo of Lanzarote, through its insular Waste Management Area, announces that due to the national holidays on December 6 and 8, the Insular Network of Recycling Centers will adjust its service this weekend.
The clean-up points in Playa Blanca (Yaiza) and Playa Honda (San Bartolomé) will remain closed on Saturday the 6th and Monday the 8th. The ones in Costa Teguise (Teguise), Arrecife, and Puerto del Carmen (Tías) will be open, from 09:00 to 14:00 hours
On Sunday, December 7, the island's five selective collection centers will maintain their usual hours, operating normally.
The Insular Network of Clean Points is made up of five facilities located in Arrecife, Costa Teguise, Playa Blanca, Playa Honda, and Puerto del Carmen. Waste that should not be thrown into municipal bins is deposited there, such as used oil, furniture, rubble, X-rays, paints, or pruning waste, in addition to paper, cardboard, packaging, and glass.
The Cabildo reminds that they operate Monday to Saturday, from 08:00 to 18:00, and on Sundays and holidays, from 09:00 to 14:00.
