The Haría City Council started this Monday the works of the project to increase the capacity of the municipal cemetery, with the aim of satisfying the burial needs of the northern population,
The Consortium will provide these facilities with two new modules, with 200 new niches, and, in a complementary way, will execute the paving of the resulting square and the passage between said modules.
The Haría City Council points out that the execution of the actions has been awarded to the company Transportes y Excavaciones Tiagua S.L., for an amount of 118,455.46 euros. The estimated execution time of these will be five months. The estimated execution time of these will be “five months”.
From the northern Consortium they estimate that, through this project, “the municipality will have facilities according to current needs and will provide residents with a comfortable and safe space to perform the ceremonies, without the risk of not having a place in the municipal cemetery”.
In this way, they add that the creation of “two niche buildings, with two faces and four heights, which will be connected through the new planned paving” is contemplated. They also report that the action takes place in the southern area of the existing cemetery, located on Vista del Valle street, in Haría, “in a free area where the execution of this has been possible”.
