The Haría City Council opens the period for the submission of bids for the cleaning and maintenance service of public buildings and municipal facilities, a process aimed at optimizing the hygienic and operational conditions of local infrastructures to guarantee the conservation of local heritage and the well-being of users.
The mayor, Alfredo Villalba, states that with this initiative "the residents of Haría will be able to continue enjoying local spaces in the best possible conditions." He also highlights that "this tender is part of the municipal plan to enhance and maintain public infrastructure."
The Councilor for Health, Marcos Lemes, points out that "we want common use spaces to be a safe place where the entire population can carry out their errands and enjoy an environment in the conditions they deserve." He emphasizes that "the objective is to offer all guarantees for the peace of mind of the citizens and to ensure hygiene in the town."
This initiative will include actions to ensure the healthiness and guarantee the correct state of conservation of the headquarters, cultural, sports, and educational centers managed by the council.
A budget of more than 1.08 million
The service will have a budget of 1,086,340.24 euros, which will be divided into lots, with a maximum of one service per interested company being awarded. The first lot will be for the cleaning of council buildings with a base of 640,662.19 euros, and the second lot will focus on the hygiene, maintenance, and concierge services of municipal spaces with a total budget of 445,678.05 euros.
The tender announcement and contract specifications are available on the Public Sector Procurement Platform since June 30, 2026, thus initiating the period for the submission of bids by interested individuals or companies.
Applications can be submitted until August 21, 2026, at 11:59 PM, in accordance with the conditions and requirements established in the published documentation. Furthermore, the contract will have an initial duration of one year, with the possibility of annual extensions to reach a maximum duration of four years, with a total value of more than 4 million euros.
