It would improve the image of the artisan market with the acquisition of 120 PVC tents. This space is held every weekend in the town center, with the aim of boosting local production.
The mayor Alfredo Villalba states that these new tents will serve "not only to provide the artisan market with a space with greater visual appeal, but it will also be safer, more accessible, and more comfortable for all people who visit it".
The councilwoman responsible for the Market Area, Nuria Acuña, values this type of actions for the well-being of the people who, every Saturday of the month, boost the municipal square through their products and craftsmanship, “marking the tradition of our town”.
This purchase, for an amount of 202.677 euros, is part of the council's plan to boost the local economy, betting on local products and offering merchants facilities that dignify their work and enhance the attractiveness of our market.
The artisan market of Haría has always been a benchmark in the local trade of the island, and now it will be transformed into a modern space that balances the tradition of our land with the needs of a municipality that looks towards the future.
