The Haría City Council has put out to tender a new service contract for support to the social welfare area and home help of the municipality with an investment of 238,824 euros, aimed at improving the health and assistance of the population.
The mayor, Alfredo Villalba, points out that with this measure the City Council responds to a demand to guarantee measures that promote people with disabilities or vulnerability. “A measure that aims to enrich personal autonomy at home and facilitate domestic tasks for the beneficiary users,” he emphasizes.
For her part, the Councilor for Social Welfare, Evelia García, highlights that “this new tender represents a comprehensive improvement in the service by increasing the number of staff dedicated to dependent people”.
The awarded company must provide the project with its own staff who have training as a socio-health care technician or with specific qualifications as a home assistant or equivalent demonstrable qualification”.
The contract will be valid for two years, extendable for a maximum of four years. Individuals or entities interested in submitting their offer can do so until June 25 through the Public Sector Contracting Platform.
