The president of the Cabildo of Lanzarote, María Dolores Corujo, visited the II Livestock and Fisheries Fair of Teguise this Saturday. Accompanied by a large part of the Island Corporation, Dolores Corujo was present at all the stands, with the aim of reaffirming the commitment to the primary sector of the Island.
During the visit, Corujo highlighted the importance of supporting the island's fishermen and ranchers and of carrying out efforts from public administrations to hold this type of fair that gives visibility to their hard work.
“The products exhibited at the fair are proof that Lanzarote has a first-class fishing and livestock sector, which we must help as much as possible, give them a space in which they can make themselves known and in which they can generate benefits from these local products,” the president remarked.
The Cabildo has a 500 square meter stand at the fair, in which local products and the way they are obtained will be made visible and various activities for all ages will be carried out. This can be visited until this Sunday at 4:00 p.m.
