CCOO denounces that the workers belonging to the company AEMA HISPÁNICA S.L. contracted by the Teguise City Council for cleaning tasks in public facilities "have been suffering non-payment of their salaries for months."
This problem also affects the gardening service of the Tenerife South Airport, which "have been suffering delays in the payment of salary and extra payments by the company and, as of today, the workers have not received their salary corresponding to the month of September 2024 or the extra payment of June 2024", they say from the union.
According to CCOO, "this painful situation, both the Legal Representation of the workers and CC.OO. of Habitat, have informed the representatives of Aena, without having any response to date. Unfortunately, this breach by the company AEMA HISPANICA; S.L., occurs in the Canary Islands Airports where this company provides its services".
In the case of Teguise, the City Council itself is aware of the situation, which "is generating in many cases degrees of anxiety, work and personal stress that seriously affects their health", they reveal.
