CC demands an "urgent" action in the Yaiza Windmill and states that its "deterioration" is "evident"

Coalición Canaria has accused the Yaiza Government group of showing a "lack of interest in the emblematic buildings of this population center, forgetting the maintenance and conservation of one of the most prominent, such as the well-known Yaiza Windmill." The party has lamented the state in which it is found and asks the City Council to act "urgently".

"The deterioration of the Yaiza Windmill is evident, in addition to the problem of the adjoining work, which has had to be closed because it does not meet the conditions for its use," highlights the spokesperson for the local committee of Coalición Canaria in Yaiza, Ángel Domínguez, who also asks the councilors of the Government group that "some of the many who are, worry about our heritage, which is visited by hundreds of tourists and locals daily and deserves respect and conservation of its uniqueness".

The party asks the local City Council to act "urgently" in the conservation of the ‘Yaiza Windmill’, as a reference in the municipality that "deserves" it. Thus, it requests "urgent improvements" on the outside and "surely on the inside", as well as doing a "check-up on the rest of the emblematic buildings, references" in the municipality.
