Central Avenue of Tías Reopened After Renovation Works

More than 492,000 euros invested for a more "modern, safe, and accessible for all" Central Avenue

The Tías City Council proceeded this Friday to open the final section of the works carried out on Avenida Central to traffic. This important municipal action has had a total investment of 492,367.97 euros, allocated to the improvement of the infrastructures of this road artery.

The mayor of the municipality, José Juan Cruz, wanted to express his sincere gratitude to the neighbors and residents for the patience and understanding shown during the time the work lasted. However, the mayor stressed that these types of interventions are fundamental and necessary to continue advancing in the construction of a better municipality with greater services for the citizens.

For his part, the councilor for Roads and Works, Ulpiano Calero, expressed his great satisfaction with the council's investment pace. Calero assured that Tías currently leads investment in works and project development throughout the island of Lanzarote, inviting verification of this data through a review of the contractor's profile.

Finally, the deputy mayor, Nicolás Saavedra, highlighted the harmony of the local government pact, pointing out that the municipality represents "the perfect combination between public works and social services". Saavedra concluded by emphasizing the commitment of the government team: "Together we are making a better municipality".
