Public Works communicates that starting this Wednesday, February 11, the circulation on one of the sections of the LZ-501 road (Conil-La Geria) will be closed
This traffic interruption is necessary to undertake the rehabilitation work of the surface in the section between the Tegoyo area and the crossroads with the La Geria road.According to the technical planning of the Public Works area, the execution of these road safety improvement tasks will have an estimated duration of two weeks, a period during which the road will remain totally closed to vehicle traffic to guarantee both the correct application of materials and the safety of the operators.From the Insular Institution, drivers are requested to exercise extreme caution, follow the provisional signage that will be set up in the areas near the closure, and use alternative routes while the work lasts.The Cabildo of Lanzarote regrets the inconvenience that these road network improvement actions may cause to residents and regular users of this section, recalling that these works are fundamental to guarantee safer and more comfortable driving in an area of high landscape value and frequent traffic.
