The Arrecife City Council has announced that the repair works of the skatepark will begin this week in the Arrecife theme park. They are launched after the actions carried out in this regard by the Departments of Youth, directed by Eli Merino, and Sports, held by Eduardo Placeres, councilors who this Monday visited these facilities where cleaning is already being carried out, prior to the start of carpentry repairs.
According to the Consistory, the works contemplate "the repair of all the wooden ramps of the skatepark, the placement and design of the galvanized sheets on the outside of all the park modules, the installation of new iron railings and the painting of all the ramps and the outside of the enclosure."
In addition, as pointed out by the Councilor for Youth, Eli Merino, "the venue will have two more ramps than the current ones, which until now were unused in a municipal soccer field and that will increase the possibilities of the skatepark circuit"
The company Grow Producciones, S.L., a specialist in this type of sports parks, is in charge of carrying out the work for the repair of the ramps, with a budget of 8,254.98 euros and an execution period of 3 weeks.
The Councilor for Youth, Eli Merino, and the Councilor for Sports, Eduardo Placeres, have agreed to make "a public call to citizens and users of the Skatepark to try to maintain the facilities in good condition of use as far as possible"
