The Deputy Mayor of Arrecife City Council, Echedey Eugenio, held a meeting this Wednesday morning with representatives of the Association of Women Entrepreneurs, Businesswomen and Professionals of Lanzarote (ATRIA) to explore new avenues for collaboration and institutional support.
The meeting was also attended by the Councilor for Employment of the capital's Consistory, Maciot Cabrera, and the Councilor for Youth of the Cabildo of Lanzarote, Aroa Revelo. The representatives of Atria, from its five areas of action, Health, Culture, Rural Women and Social Action, Training and Innovation, and Tourism and Commerce, raised the need to establish training programs aimed at youth, as one of the main priorities of the association.
During the meeting, Eugenio highlighted the importance of Atria's work and reaffirmed the commitment of the Arrecife City Council to collaborate in the implementation of youth employment and training policies. "The work that Atria does is very important for the economic and social revitalization of the capital. Hence our commitment to work together to strengthen youth employment and training policies that respond to the current needs of our municipality," said the Deputy Mayor.
For their part, the Councilor for Employment, Maciot Cabrera, and the Councilor for Youth, Aroa Revelo, also expressed their support for Atria's initiatives, stressing the "importance of these collaborations for the development of projects that benefit both women entrepreneurs and businesswomen and the youth of Lanzarote."
