The Arrecife City Council, through the Social Services area, has put out to tender the contracting of social funeral services for vulnerable people in the city.
The purpose of the contract is the possibility that in the case of vulnerable people who have died in the capital, or those for whom a court order urges the Arrecife City Council to carry out the burial, the City Council can face it.
“The Arrecife City Council has always been, is, and will be with the vulnerable people of the city, for that reason we have put out to tender this social funeral service,” says the mayor of Arrecife, Astrid Pérez.
The capital city council has allocated a total amount of 13,375 euros for this contract, including IGIC, with a duration of one year and a possible extension of the contract for another two years.
“All citizens deserve a dignified end, which is why from the City Council we must help ensure that people who lack the resources to do so also have that opportunity,” says the Councilor for Social Services, María Jesús Tovar.
Companies interested in this service have until December 20 at 1:00 p.m. to submit applications.
