The Municipal Government of Arrecife has allocated half a million euros to support sports clubs and the practice of sports. The Department of Sports of Arrecife, led by the councilor El Merino, has published on the electronic headquarters of the City Council of Arrecife, this Thursday, November 21, the list of the 24 clubs that will be beneficiaries of these sports subsidies.
In this publication, which opens a period of 5 days for clubs to contribute or make allegations, the nominal list of clubs is detailed, and the amounts to be received by axes 1 and 3, according to the bases of the calls.
In compliance with the legally foreseen procedure in the regulatory bases of the subsidy call and in accordance with the provisions of article 24.4 of Law 38/2003, of November 17, General of Subsidies, the instructor has raised the resolution where the amounts and names of the clubs are outlined, according to the minutes of the Study and Evaluation Commission, dated November 21, 2024, mandatory that has specifically studied and evaluated the applications submitted for the purpose of the call.
In this list, the names of four clubs that must correct the documentation are specified, via allegations, to be able to apply for these aids.
Councilor Eli Merino has remarked that "the City Council supports sports clubs with half a million euros in subsidies that enable the promotion of grassroots sports, and the maintenance of numerous sports disciplines in a city like Arrecife where sport is being relaunched".
The sports entities that deem it appropriate have 5 days to formulate the allegations they require. The board details the causes that must be corrected or clarified by the petitioners.
With this announcement, the City Council of Arrecife disseminates in the electronic headquarters the proposed report on subsidies to sports entities.
