The mayor of Arrecife, Astrid Pérez, and the Councilor for Public Works, Roberto Herbón, have turned on the public lighting of the Julián de León Tejera park, providing this area with light for the first time.

The works, which have involved an investment of 33,000 euros, have consisted of the installation of six 8-meter lampposts with 80-watt luminaires.

Pérez highlighted that "this installation of lighting is something that has been historically demanded since it is the first time that this park in Titerroy, better known as Parque Rafael, has public lighting."
