The plenary session of the Arrecife City Council, in its extraordinary session held last Monday, agreed to decree the closure of three aluminum carpentry workshops and a bar for carrying out activities without the mandatory municipal license (enabling title). Furthermore, the imposition of an economic penalty of 15,001 euros on each establishment for operating without the mandatory and necessary enabling title was approved.
The sanctions, agreed upon after the processing of the corresponding administrative files, conclude that the owners of these three aluminum carpentry workshops and the bar were carrying out their respective activities without the mandatory and necessary enabling title (license).
The Sanctions and Infractions Area of the Arrecife City Council, under the direction of councilor Kevin Cortés, submitted these procedures to the plenary session held this past Monday, September 14.
The sanctioned bar-cafeteria is located in the La Vega neighborhood, and the establishments carrying out aluminum carpentry activities are located in Argana Alta, Valterra, and La Vega, respectively.
These sanctioning files were initiated with the participation of the Local Police, who had received complaints from residents affected by the disturbances from these premises, which were operating without their mandatory municipal licenses (enabling titles).
