The council responsible for the San Román Municipal Cemetery of the Arrecife City Council, headed by Cathaysa Suárez, reports that, due to adverse weather conditions and the rainfall being recorded in the capital, the municipal cemetery will remain closed this Sunday, until further notice, as a preventive and safety measure.

This decision is made with the aim of guaranteeing the safety of citizens, as well as the personnel providing service in these facilities, given the risk that water accumulation and possible incidents arising from the rainfall episode may pose.

The councilor for the Area, Cathaysa Suárez, explains that "the priority at this moment is safety. The meteorological conditions make it necessary to adopt preventive measures, and the temporary closure of the San Román Cemetery responds solely to that criterion of prudence and responsibility."Suárez adds that "we understand the inconvenience this measure may cause, but it is a necessary decision as long as the rains persist and the municipal emergency device remains active."

The Arrecife City Council requests the understanding and cooperation of citizens, and reminds them of the importance of following the recommendations of municipal services and exercising extreme caution
