In a statement, the counselor of the Centers of Art, Culture and Tourism of Lanzarote, Ángel Vázquez, has explained how he is doing after the accident he suffered on December 12 near Zonzamas.

After having undergone surgery for an elbow injury on the 26th, I am well and have already been discharged from the hospital, continuing to attend to my work responsibilities at all times, which I will continue to perform normally."

From the very first moment, I have received exceptional treatment, marked not only by the highest professionalism but also by a human quality that comforts and provides peace of mind in difficult situations. Thank you for caring, accompanying, and always being up to the task," he continued.
He also thanked "all the emergency services that acted quickly, effectively, and in coordination after the accident, as well as the people who assisted and helped me in the first instance. The expressions of support, messages, calls, and words of encouragement have been overwhelming. I've felt very supported and moved by the affection of so many people.
