On the occasion of the International Day of Persons with Disabilities, ADISLAN brought together companies from Lanzarote this Wednesday at the Gran Hotel Arrecife to reinforce their commitment to the social and labor inclusion of people with intellectual disabilities.

This meeting, held on a date that invites us to highlight rights and abilities, became a space to share experiences and generate new opportunities that contribute to a more diverse and inclusive society.

Collaborating companies such as Grupo Hibiscus, Chacón, La Molina, Decathlon, Fundación Canaria Martínez, HSmith, Paradisus Salinas, Aequora, SBH Royal Mónica, Aloe Plus, ASOLAN, and the Chamber of Commerce of Lanzarote and La Graciosa participated. New entities interested in learning about the functioning of the insertion service and the possibilities of inclusive hiring joined them.

During the day, ADISLAN's socio-labor insertion technical team presented their work in accompaniment, training, and support processes for both the company and the employee, showing real cases that reflect the positive impact of inclusive employment.

The meeting also included the presence of Lanzarote Island Councilors Marciano Acuña (Health and Social Welfare) and María Ascensión Toledo Hernández (Education and Employment), who attended to show their support for the initiatives promoted by the third sector.

From ADISLAN, they express their gratitude "for the involvement and commitment of all attending companies". These types of meetings are essential for building a society where diversity is synonymous with opportunity. We will continue working to make inclusion a reality in every workspace.
