The leader of Vox, Santiago Abascal, has publicly requested the confiscation and sinking of the Open Arms NGO ship docked in Santa Cruz de Tenerife, which he has described as a "slave ship", and which the president of the Canary Islands, Fernando Clavijo, is scheduled to visit this afternoon.
"That slave ship must be confiscated and SUNK. To serve as a warning of what the end will be for all the millionaires and politicians who promote the invasion of Europe," the president of Vox wrote in a message on his X social network account.
The Open Arms vessel, an entity dedicated to rescuing migrants at sea who are trying to reach European coasts, has docked in the port of Santa Cruz de Tenerife after a journey from Barcelona and its crew is awaiting the announced visit of Fernando Clavijo.
