Yellow warning for wind and waves in Lanzarote for Tuesday and Wednesday

There will be maximum gusts of up to 70 kilometers per hour

The wind and rough seas return on Tuesday. The State Meteorological Agency has activated the yellow warning for coastal phenomena and strong winds starting on Tuesday, February 27, and will continue on Wednesday.

According to Aemet, there may be gusts of up to 70 kilometers per hour, especially in the southern half of the island. As for the sea, it will be force 7 and there may be waves of up to five meters high.

In addition, that day there will be cloudy intervals with a predominance of slightly cloudy skies during the central hours.

On Wednesday there will be slightly cloudy skies to intervals in the northern half of Lanzarote. As for temperatures there will be little change or maximums in slight ascent in midlands and peaks.
