The State Meteorological Agency (Aemet) has activated the yellow warning for high temperatures for this Sunday in Lanzarote.
The warning will be active from 12:00 to 19:00 hours and, according to Aemet, the heat will especially affect the western slope and inland areas of the southern half, where 34ºC will be exceeded. In addition, there will be haze, mainly on slopes facing south.
As for the wind, it will blow from the northeast from weak to moderate on the coasts. In inland areas it will turn from the early hours of the morning to the southeast with intervals of strong and at the end of the day subsiding and turning to the south component.
Yellow warning for wind for Monday and wind and waves for Tuesday
For Monday, April 18, Aemet has activated the yellow warning for wind and will be activated from 7:00 p.m. and there will be maximum gusts of up to 70 kilometers per hour. It will especially affect western slopes and inland areas of the southern half.
The waves will join the strong wind for Tuesday, April 19, where there will be a generalized Northeast Force 7 sea, mainly from the afternoon.
