Yellow warning for high temperatures and haze this weekend in Lanzarote

Maximum temperatures of 36 degrees are expected, according to Aemet forecasts, and less wind

The State Meteorological Agency has activated new yellow warnings for this weekend, both for high temperatures and for haze.

The first will begin at 10 a.m. this Saturday, when thermometers are expected to rise again, reaching highs of up to 36 degrees, according to Aemet forecasts.

On that same day, the haze is expected to increase, especially from 12 noon until night.

As for Sunday, only the warning for high temperatures will remain. This will begin at 10 a.m., since it will not be active on Saturday night to Sunday.

Like Saturday, that warning will also be deactivated on Sunday at 8 p.m., when the thermometers will drop.

As for the wind, which has blown strongly in recent days, it has already begun to drop this Friday and over the weekend it will oscillate between 5 and 20 kilometers per hour.

The new warnings are in addition to those that have been active on the island between Tuesday and Thursday, although the expected temperatures were not reached, and were also dampened by the wind.
