The State Meteorological Agency has activated the yellow alert for heat for this Monday, September 7. The alert will be in effect from 12 noon and will extend until Tuesday.
According to Aemet, temperatures will reach 34 degrees on the southern slope and could even reach 36 degrees. The skies will be little cloudy or clear and there will be haze.
In addition, the Directorate General of Emergencies maintains the pre-alert for strong winds on all islands.
