Wind, coastal phenomena and now also rain. Lanzarote has up to three yellow alerts activated this Thursday, due to the storm that has entered the island. Since the beginning of the week, strong gusts of wind have already begun to be recorded, but now Aemet also predicts rain of a certain intensity on the island.
The pre-alert for rain will be active, in principle, until 6 am this Friday. Until then, the State Meteorological Agency predicts accumulated rainfall in 12 hours of 40 mm.
As for the wind, the yellow warning will continue to be active throughout Friday. Until then, gusts of 70 kilometers per hour are expected. Regarding the third active yellow warning, due to coastal phenomena, in principle it will also be in force until Friday night. At sea, Aemet expects north wind force 7 and from the afternoon of this Thursday, combined sea from the north or northwest of 4 to 5 meters.
