The residents of the town of Las Breñas celebrate the festivities in honor of San Luis Gonzaga. Among the different cultural, recreational and leisure events, last Friday they enjoyed the XIV Festival de Seguidillas, which took place in the town square, Víctor Fernández Gopar.

The Janubio band and the Rubicón folk group, both from the municipality of Yaiza, participated in the event, performing pieces related to Lanzarote's folklore, being highly applauded by the attending public.

Also for this edition, the group Teretikepat was present, with a musical show in which legendary instruments such as chácaras, tap dance, Canarian drum or flamenco cajón were fused to build new Canarian folklore.

Thus, the residents of Las Breñas enjoyed a night in which tradition and new rhythms mixed, leaving a very good taste in the mouths of those attending.

The event was presented by the timple player Benito Cabrera, promoter of this festival, which gains more followers to the traditions every year.
