Tinajo honors the police officers with the most years watching over the municipality

Awards to local police officers of Tinajo

The Municipal Theater of Tinajo was the scene this Friday of a very special event for the Local Police of Tinajo, present in the streets of the municipality since the 60s, the decoration of the agents who have been 25 and 30 years in active service.

The rest of the agents of the Local Police of Tinajo, together with members of local police from other municipalities and the Civil Guard, attended a heartwarming act of recognition to five agents from Tinajo. The act began with the words of the Chief of the Local Police of Tinajo, Eduardo Ferrer, who highlighted the commendable work of the agents in the streets of Tinajo.

 

Later, the mayor, Jesús Machín, thanked the "agents of other towns and security forces for their presence and, with a huge smile on his face, stressed that he has never had a problem with the Local Police and that he can assure that he is one of the few mayors who can affirm that." Both, together with the delegate councilor of Security and Emergencies, Yurena Cubas, were in charge of delivering the decorations to the following agents: Juan Rafael Pacheco and José Domingo Rodríguez for their 25 years in active service, and to Pedro Félix Morales, José Antonio Bernal and Eduardo Ferrer himself for serving the citizens of Tinajo for three decades.

Among the local police officers who attended the act of recognition of their colleagues was the new agent, recently incorporated, who comes to complement the body of the Local Police of Tinajo.
