The State Meteorological Agency (Aemet) has increased to orange the warning established for this Thursday morning in Lanzarote, the only island that has reached the level of "significant danger" due to this phenomenon, due to waves of up to six meters.
Meanwhile, from 13:00 hours this warning will drop to yellow and will remain so for the rest of the day. Added to this is that the island is also under a yellow warning for wind from 06:00 in the morning and until, at least, 24:00 at night.
For this Thursday, gusts of 70 kilometers per hour are expected, with northwest winds on the island. For the moment, Aemet has not foreseen more warnings for this Friday, April 10.
As for the temperature, the island reached lows of 11.9 degrees in the early hours of this Thursday in the municipality of Tías.
