The residents of Tinasoria have been enjoying a new edition of the festivities in honor of San Genaro since this Sunday, which will last until next Sunday, the 25th. The starting signal was given by Marta Ruíz, president of the Murga Las Vacilonas, with a proclamation in which she recalled the history of the murga, associated with the neighborhood.
The event took place on the Estrella Machín sports court, the place chosen for the celebration of the scheduled events, which include events aimed at all audiences, from the youngest to the oldest.
The announcing murga was supported by the mayor of Arrecife, Eva de Anta, the Councilor for Festivities, David Duarte, as well as councilors from the Municipal Corporation and the president of the Tinasoria neighborhood association, Tomás Falero.
This Monday night, starting at 9:00 p.m., the Senior Citizens Meeting will take place, organized by the Department of Social Services, and then there will be a play back, by the Grupo Simpatía, with refreshments included.
A zumba masterclass is scheduled for this Tuesday at 8:30 p.m., while on Wednesday it will continue with a musical gala by Rebeca. The festivities have been organized by the Department of Celebrations managed by David Duarte with the collaboration of the Tinasoria Neighborhood Association, which is coordinated by Tomás Falero and Melquiades García.
