The ONCE's Extra Summer Coupon draw, held on Friday, August 15, left a shower of prizes in the Canary Islands, where 800,000 euros were distributed between Tenerife and Lanzarote, the two most fortunate islands in the archipelago.
In the case of Lanzarote, luck came to Arrecife, where ten coupons were sold with 40,000 euros each, totaling 400,000 euros that are directly injected into the local economy.
The same amount traveled to La Orotava (Tenerife), where another ten coupons were also distributed with the same amount, thus completing the equal distribution of the 800,000 euros in the Canary Islands.
This result makes the archipelago one of the most benefited autonomous communities in the country in this extraordinary draw, along with regions such as Galicia, Andalusia or Extremadura, although in the Canary Islands case with a particularly prominent concentration in only two municipalities.
