Pablo Padrón is a young man from Lanzarote who is fighting for his dream in Madrid. He is totally dedicated to acting, both in film and theater. He has appeared in several television series, such as in a chapter of the recent "La Promesa", of which he has fond memories: "it was a pleasure to talk to all the actors, actresses and the team, in a series that I was already watching before I was selected."
"I felt like a little kid on set," confesses the young actor. In the shoes of Segismundo, a "kind character" but who is "involved in uncomfortable moments," he says.
Studying at Tai, the University of Arts in Madrid, he has also specialized in "stage fighting and acrobatics", an "interpretive path" in which he can "physically exploit himself" and "favor his future characters" with the development of "his own body expression". Lover of dance, from which he has always "learned since he was little".
He also dedicates himself to theater, confessing that the play, which "became a family" after months of preparation, was "Aterra", with which "I was able to get to know myself through the characters". Theater is "the most realistic and closest thing" to real life. And "the actor has to complement his career in audiovisual and theatrical acting", he acknowledges.
"There are many desires to be able to bring the play "Aterra" to Lanzarote, we almost did it but finally it could not be, so you never know", says Padrón.
"It is essential that actors/actresses also try their hand at presenting", whether it is "television, etc". Something that he knows very well, since in his first year in the capital he presented the "Madrid Sci-Fi Film Festival" in 2019. "I was nervous and scared to death", but "the experience marked me", he says.
"When I landed in Madrid I realized that it is a city that opens up, in Lanzarote I was in a bubble", he reveals. "Although I see my future in the capital, I would also like to work internationally", he acknowledges.
