Summer has not ended yet and it is still noticeable in the high temperatures that continue to be recorded in Lanzarote. These values, which have reached and exceeded 30 degrees for weeks, will continue to be repeated this week, according to the State Meteorological Agency (Aemet).
For this same Tuesday, skies are expected to be mostly clear, except for intervals of medium and high clouds with a low probability of weak and occasional precipitation. Temperatures will change little, potentially reaching 30 degrees in southeastern areas. For its part, the wind will blow moderately from the northeast, with intervals of strong winds in inland areas of the southern half and more intense during the second half of the day, when there will be a probability of some very strong gusts.
As for Wednesday, skies will be mostly clear in general with intervals of high clouds, and with morning intervals of low clouds in the north. There will be light haze at altitude during the second half of the day and temperatures will change little. 30 degrees could be reached in the southeast of the island. Thus, the wind will blow moderately from the northeast, with intervals of strong winds in inland areas of the southern half during the first half of the day with the probability of some very strong gusts.
Looking ahead to Thursday, the forecast will be similar. Mostly clear skies are expected with intervals of morning low clouds and light haze at altitude. Temperatures will change little, with highs that will reach 31 degrees. The wind will blow between light and moderate from the northeast.
On Friday and Saturday, temperatures will continue to rise slightly more, when 32 degrees will be reached during the weekend in the southern-facing areas.
