The Guardamar Caliope has rescued a second precarious boat near the coasts of Lanzarote this Wednesday morning, according to the Emergency Consortium.
About 52 people of sub-Saharan origin would be traveling in the inflatable boat and are currently being transferred to Puerto Naos where they will be attended by Red Cross volunteers.
This is the second boat that has been rescued this Wednesday. The first was intercepted at around 3 in the morning and 47 people were traveling on it.
Compared to the data given by the Security and Emergency Consortium of Lanzarote, the Red Cross puts the number of people treated throughout this Wednesday at 92.
