Marcial Martín, a photography enthusiast, recorded this Thursday the floods in Cuatro Esquinas caused by the high tides that take place every month of September. After leaving work, Martín decided to pass by this place and with his camera he was able to capture these unusual images in the capital.

This impressive phenomenon of spring tides occurs due to the autumnal equinox due to the situation and proximity of the full moon that causes the tide and the size of the waves to increase after the calm of summer.

That is why the sea water that enters the Charco de San Ginés surpasses the walls and overflows in this area of Arrecife. "It's impressive," says Martín.
