The General Directorate of Emergencies of the Government of the Canary Islands has declared the end of the pre-alert situation for rains declared on the islands of Fuerteventura and Lanzarote. The measure is no longer in effect as of 6:00 p.m. this Thursday, October 2.
The decision is adopted after analyzing the information provided by the State Meteorological Agency (Aemet) and other available official sources, applying the protocols established in the Specific Emergency Plan of the Canary Islands for Risks of Adverse Meteorological Phenomena (PEFMA).
With the improvement of atmospheric conditions and the absence of significant rainfall, the authorities have declared the preventive phase over, although they recommend continuing to pay attention to official information in the event of possible weather changes.

Mainly clear or slightly cloudy skies are expected, except in the north during the first and last hours of the day, where there will be cloudy intervals.
