The haze episode that the Canary Islands are experiencing due to an influx of Saharan air mass is leaving temperatures above 30 degrees and high concentrations of dust in suspension, according to data from the State Meteorological Agency (Aemet).
Lanzarote, La Graciosa, and the rest of the archipelago have been on haze pre-alert since Monday, a situation that will be felt especially this Tuesday, October 27, with the probability that from the afternoon it will begin to be more significant at low levels.
On Monday, the different meteorological stations distributed throughout Lanzarote and La Graciosa registered unusually high temperatures for the time of year. The highest temperature was recorded in the town of Caleta de Famara, where 33.3 degrees were reached.
