The State Meteorological Agency (Aemet) has reactivated the yellow alert for strong surf starting this Wednesday in Lanzarote and La Graciosa.
Specifically, the alert will begin at 06:00 on Wednesday and will remain in effect, at a minimum, until 00:00 on the same day.The probability of it occurring is up to 70%, according to Aemet. Likewise, a combined sea from the northwest is expected with waves that **can reach four to five meters in height**.
Authorities are asking people to exercise extreme caution and not approach the coast, especially those facing north.
