The Aemet activates the yellow alert for wind for several days in Lanzarote and La Graciosa

The State Meteorological Agency forecasts that wind gusts will reach 70 kilometers per hour

The State Meteorological Agency (Aemet) has activated the yellow alert for strong gusts of wind in Lanzarote and La Graciosa starting this Thursday, as confirmed by the Emergency Consortium. 

Specifically, this alert will begin at 6:00 PM this Thursday and will extend until Saturday at 11:59 PM.

Aemet forecasts that wind gusts will reach 70 kilometers per hour and will be especially intense locally in different parts of the island.

For this Friday, cloudy intervals are expected in the north during the night hours, tending to be mostly clear during the day. In the rest of the areas, mostly clear. Light haze at altitude will continue and temperatures will experience few changes. It is not ruled out that 30 degrees will be reached locally in the southern half.
