Lanzarote and La Graciosa will experience a weekend with clear skies, rising temperatures, and moderate to very strong winds

Looking ahead to this Saturday, June 6, the State Meteorological Agency (Aemet) forecasts that the day will be mostly partly cloudy to even clear. Cloudy intervals may occur in the north of both islands during the early morning and late hours of the day.

Meanwhile, minimum temperatures will remain with little change, around 18 degrees, and maximums will see a slight increase, around 25.

For this Saturday, the wind will be predominantly moderate from the north to northeast, but strong intervals may be recorded in inland areas and on the southern slopes of the islands. Aemet does not rule out the possibility of occasionally very strong gusts in these areas.

In contrast, for Sunday, cloudy intervals are expected to prevail in the west and north of Lanzarote. While minimum temperatures will remain unchanged, slight increases may be recorded in some parts of the island.

The wind will blow moderately, with intervals of strong wind in the interior of Lanzarote, especially in the early morning and late hours of the day when locally very strong gusts are not ruled out.
