The windstorm that is hitting Lanzarote this Monday has forced several flights that had to land on the island to be diverted to other airports.
Specifically, according to what has been confirmed by Aena, until 3 p.m. three flights had been diverted, one from Seville and two from London. Two of the flights have been diverted to Fuerteventura and the other to Gran Canaria.
The yellow warning for wind that affects Lanzarote, for gusts of up to 80 kilometers per hour, will remain until 9:59 p.m. this Monday. In addition, it should be remembered that the island is on orange alert for coastal phenomena until this Tuesday.
