The director of Choirs and Dances of Arrecife, Santiago Torres, has dedicated a song as a tribute to the health workers of the Molina Orosa Hospital for managing to "bring me back to life." "It is a simple tribute to all of them who were there day and night taking care of me as well as the rest of the patients," Torres explained to La Voz.

Torres fell ill with Covid, entered the ICU on January 28th and remained intubated until February 20th, and has been recovering since that day. Torres lost ten kilos, and is now in rehabilitation to walk well. "With great desire to live, I have to continue with popular culture, family and friends.
